Our group comprise a team of pioneer staff who helped set up the first Cafe Cartel outlet at Springvale along East Coast Road. Subsequently, they were involved in the establishment of other similar food outlets under different ownership. This team has been working together for varying periods for the past twenty years.

Mei, the Managing Director and leader of the team, together with Julius, Director cum Chef, is responsible for bringing Vittles to fruition. Mei first graduated from Shatec in 1987 and worked her way up successfully as a Chef in numerous food establishments. Her work exposures include stints with Hotel Phoenix, Spinney¡¯s International (Restaurant & Catering Establishment), French Bakery Chain ¨C Delifrance, Singapore Recreation Club and Pabulum (a modern lifestyle dining concept restaurant). Over the years, she even managed to diversify her career and gained vast experience and skills in the setting up and operation of similar cafe type food outlets. She was then involved in providing F&B Consultancy services to help clients in concept development and establishment of cafes and restaurants both locally and overseas. Julius, on the other hand, had participated in various culinary competitions and bagged several merit recognitions. He is very innovative and loves to create tasty and fanciful dishes ¨C given any raw materials in his hands. He was recruited by Mei and started his career as a part-timer at the Caf¨¦ Cartel¡¯s outlet in Springvale. Subsequently, he graduated from SHATEC and went on to gain experience from International Hotels and Restaurants in Singapore and numerous other Cafes.

Mei expressed that her team is confident of the outlet's success, as over the years, they have been able to detect and identify the desires and preferences of the consumer public and have, hence, been able to develop and tailor their menu with special emphasis on details to satisfy their customers' gastronomical desires! They also firmly believe that the cooperative spirit and vast experiences of all members of the team will enable Vittles to make quick inroads into the highly competitive food arena.
